The E080 Dehumidifiers are ideal for various settings, from whole-home moisture management to humidity control in basements and crawl spaces. The Goodman E080 operates by drawing air across an evaporator coil, cooling it below the dew point to extract moisture. The extracted water drains to a standard floor or waste drain, while the dried air passes through a condenser coil for reheating before exiting the unit. The system continues dehumidifying until reaching your target humidity level, then cycles off. It automatically resumes operation when periodic checks detect rising moisture levels.
