Aspen 5 ton 60,000 BTU 17-3/4" width A-4 Row Uncased Copper Upflow/Downflow Coil (For Manufactured Homes) CM59A4D177L022
Product Description:
The Aspen CM59A4D177L022 is a 5-ton (60,000 BTU/hr) uncased upflow/downflow copper (C Series) evaporator coil designed specifically for manufactured home (M) furnace applications. Built around a 4-row "A" face area coil configuration (A4), it features an R32 piston metering device (M), making it ready for next-generation A2L refrigerants (R32 and R454B) when paired with a Refrigerant Detection System (RDS), while also supporting legacy R22 and R410A systems (ETL listed for both). The coil is housed in a 177L drain pan measuring 17-3/4" wide (177), with left-hand refrigerant and plumbing connections (L) and a 3/4" ODS suction line suited for 1.5-3 ton applications. Configured per option code 022, it is ETL listed, AHRI certifiable with all major A/C and heat pump brands, and backed by a ten-year limited warranty with registration.
Product Features:
- Application Versatility: Ships complete with downflow plates, a manufactured housing drain hose, and drain elbow — no additional accessories needed for installation.
- Multi-Brand Compatibility: AHRI certifiable with virtually all A/C and heat pump system brands for flexible system pairing.
- Refrigerant Listings: ETL listed for R22 and R410A. Compatible with A2L refrigerants R454B and R32 when installed alongside a Refrigerant Detection System (RDS), which is mandatory for A2L compliance.
- Coil Construction: Built with rifled copper tubing and enhanced aluminum fins to maximize heat transfer efficiency and extend service life.
- Drain Pan: Equipped with a heavy-duty polypropylene drain pan. For oil furnace or other high-temperature applications where outlet temperatures may exceed 290°F ± 5°F, a metal drain pan is strongly recommended.
- Pressure Tested & Factory Sealed: Immersion tested at 500 psi, then nitrogen pressurized and sealed at the factory to guarantee system integrity and reliability over time.
- Pressure Assurance: Includes a Schrader valve to facilitate on-site pressure testing during installation.
- Connection Orientation: Features left-hand refrigerant and plumbing connections with a downturn suction line, optimized for straightforward installation in manufactured home applications.
- Connection Sizes: Liquid line 3/8" ODS; suction line 3/4" ODS (1.5-3 ton) or 7/8" ODS (3.5-5 ton); condensate drain 3/4" NPT.
- Drain Connection: The 177L drain pan includes a single left-hand 3/4" FPT drain connection.
- Warranty: Covered by a ten-year limited warranty upon product registration.
